I found that they have works by many different artists, including some of my favorites, so I started visiting. I became interested in them and started to visit them. I am the type of person who, when I find a place I like, I go there all the time, and there are not too many stores I shop at. I think this makes the relationship between me and the stores even closer.
SML" mainly offers plates by domestic artists and some old pottery from overseas. The store always has nearly 20 artists' works for sale. The products change quickly, making it a store to visit frequently.
This is a plate by Yudai Ishiguro. He carves a piece of wood and applies iron-dyeing and wipe lacquer to it. I have been to his exhibitions before, and he is one of my favorite artists.
Katsu, who is particular about his plates, is also particular about his food, and says he is happy to eat food he has prepared himself on his favorite tableware.
