It is the Danish way to choose what you think is good.

It gets cold at night, and a long-sleeved shirt is a must to be able to enter any restaurant. A leather band watch is good when slightly more formal situations are expected, such as wearing a jacket over the top.

When staying at a hotel, one of the most difficult questions is whether to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant or to eat out. There is no right answer, but this is another happy problem.
Come to think of it, some people buy watches as an asset, and some even buy them as a status. Both are not wrong, but I have heard that such values are not common in Denmark. The same goes for art. People don't buy art because they think it will be expensive later. They choose things based on whether or not they fit their lifestyle and whether or not they think it is cool. I choose things based on such simple considerations. If I think it is good, then I think it is the right choice.
