Born in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. She aspired to be a model when she joined a magazine club in college. Currently, she models in a wide range of genres, including casual, street, and beauty, while also attracting attention for her active lifestyle. Her hobbies include mountain climbing, biking, diving, fishing, and skiing.

How did you become a model?
I joined an entertainment production company when I was in high school and was aiming for a career in the entertainment industry, but I gave it up when I went to college. However, I joined a magazine-making club at university, and while I was modeling there, I decided that I wanted to get serious about it. I quit college halfway through and moved to Tokyo to resume modeling.
I see that you like your profession that much. Looking at your work, I see that you also model in a different genre from your usual private fashion.
Yes, I usually like menswear-like and active atmospheres, and that's what I mainly upload on Instagram. However, some of my followers are fans and some are clients, so I try to post almost all of the work I've done, regardless of my taste, in order to show that I can do this kind of look and express myself in this way.
Miki, you are an avid outdoorsman.
On my days off, I go to the mountains when I have time. I like to play in all four seasons, so in summer I go to the ocean to dive and snorkel, and in winter I go to the mountains to ski.
How did it all start?
I was exposed to nature when I was a child, and when I grew up, my love of fishing led me to work at a local fishing tackle shop called "Tackle Berry. But it wasn't until I moved to Tokyo that I really got into the outdoors. Tokyo is a big city, and the gap between Tokyo and my hometown makes me tired, so sometimes I want to go back to nature (laughs).
What kind of activities have you been doing lately?
I went to a mountain called "Reisenzan" located between Gifu and Shiga during GW. It was a great way to feel such a wonderful feeling without spending a lot of money. It was also great to make and bring my own food and eat it at the top.
Worn as a leg band is a striped bandana she bought at Family Mart. Miki's unique choice of things shines through.
I heard that you like bicycles.
I was asked by a friend who was going to London to temporarily keep a BMC road bike for him. While I was riding it, I got hooked on it and decided to buy my own when my friend came back. So I bought a Fuji pisto bike. I also arranged the wires to be green at "DINER TOKYO" in Roppongi.
It's hard to believe that this is the first unit you have selected for the store!
In fact, he has been teaching me a lot. He and his friends and I often go cycling together, and the other day we rode through Asakusa and Skytree at 1 or 2 am and went home after eating ramen noodles. He is really into it. I am now planning to create a cycle crew and make some goods.
You came to today's photo shoot by bicycle. Is your outfit also bicycle-specific?
Yes, I tend to wear pants because I am very outdoorsy. However, I don't want to be too rigidly outdoorsy, so I try to find a good balance between that and fashion. I also want people to say I look "cool" rather than "pretty" or "cute! I want to show people that even women can be this cool.
Do you have a muse?
I am the model MIU! I've known her since high school, but since I recently started doing active things myself, I've been inspired even more. I've come to think that I need to dig deeper into various cultures myself.
Finally, can you tell us what kind of men you are attracted to?
Someone who can do what I want to do with me. I want someone with whom I can share the fun. After accomplishing something together, I really enjoyed it! Thank you! After accomplishing something together, I would like someone with whom I can honestly say, "I really had fun!
