So the spring weather brings out the flavor of the curry.
Rice eaten outside is unconditionally delicious. Especially during this season, the gentle sunlight and gentle breeze make the rice even more delicious. There are many delicious take-out curry restaurants in Tokyo, so I bought some and enjoyed my outing chill. The person who told me about the restaurant was that well-known person from HOUYHNHNM's column. Tell me about it, Curry Cell!

You can enjoy three unique flavors. It is also a superb snack.
Curry Cell first told me about "Tokyo Kyobashiya Curry," which used to be served inside the restaurant and had a long line of customers. The first place he told us about was "Tokyo Kyobashiya Curry," which used to be available inside the restaurant and had a long line of customers every day. Now the restaurant is only open for takeout, and most people order the three kinds of curry.
There are three types of curry: "Tokie Curry" (top right) with 21 spices, chicken, cabbage and shrimp; "Keema" (left), the number one regular favorite since the restaurant's opening; and "Spicy Date Chicken Curry" (bottom right) with a stimulating and refreshing spiciness from several types of chilies. All of these curries are made without additives or flour. For the rice, you can choose either Natsuboshi rice, which is produced exclusively by Hokkaido producers and tastes great even when cold, or Akita brown rice, which is organically grown in Akita Prefecture. One can go on endlessly, changing the flavor with each bite.

Curry lunchboxes provided by a long-established Western-style restaurant in Hibiya Park.
More than 100 years ago, in 1903, the western-style restaurant Hibiya Matsumoto Ro opened its doors. Located in Hibiya Park, its appearance is reminiscent of that time. The restaurant, which was frequented by the famous Soseki Natsume, offers a boxed lunch featuring its signature dish, "Haikara Beef Curry" (high-color beef curry). The name also evokes a sense of history, doesn't it?
In the mainstream of spiced curry, it has the old-fashioned taste that everyone imagines when curry rice is called curry rice, and it is close to the taste of home. It tastes like a three-step update of the best home-style curry. There is a fountain and a park nearby, so in this pleasant season, you should try the curry with melt-in-your-mouth meat while chilling outside instead of inside the restaurant. It is really good.

Good even when cold! Authentic wrapped in banana leaves!
Florida Pavilion in Ikebukuro, where you can enjoy authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, tells me, "You don't feel like you're missing out on takeout." The restaurant is as relaxing as a local community center, and if you are tired, you can take off your shoes and lie down on the overstuffed couches without being offended. Anyway, the hospitality of the restaurant is outstanding, but the taste of the "banana leaf curry," which you can take out, is also very rustic.
Unlike its appearance, the flavor is rich yet light, so it can be eaten without hesitation. Even those who are not used to heavy curries should try this dish. It contains chicken, lotus root, boiled egg, achar, etc., and the right way to eat it is to mix them all together. A recommended plan is to go to Minami Ikebukuro Park, located a 5-minute walk from the restaurant. It is the best outside chill spot with free goza.

Did you know that that famous restaurant offers take-out?
SPICY CURRY" in Shinjuku, which is also involved in TV programs featuring top runners in the field and supervising convenience store curry menus. Rokko is a famous restaurant in Shinjuku. The lineups are so long that the restaurant now operates on a book-keeping system. There is a secret technique to eat such popular curry whenever you want.
That is the bento box lunch box by reservation only. Combining the Chicken Curry Bento (top photo) and the Lunghi Rice Bento (bottom photo) completes the "Lunghi Plate" that you can eat at the restaurant. The taste is comparable to what you would get at a restaurant, and it is super delicious! It is just too good to be able to taste this kind of food while out chilling. For details on the bento, check the restaurant's SNS. By the way, Curry Cell likes lamb curry.
