My first full marathon , hoka on my feet.
--Which brand of running shoes do you particularly like?
Hoka is one of my favorite brands. I have been wearing them often for the past two years .
--What models do you particularly like?
Rocket X 2". For me, they are the shoes to beat. They were on my feet when I achieved a personal best in the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon last year (1:24:55) and when I completed my first full marathon (2:47:45) at the Kagoshima Marathon in March of this year.
--Wow . That's how much you rely on these shoes.
The Rocket X 2 is thick-soled and carbon-equipped, yet it has a good ground feel and gives you the sensation of moving forward on your own feet. . This is the main reason why I like this shoe.
--What about other models of Hoka?
I wear the "Mach 6" for fast jogs of about 4.5 minutes per kilometer , and the "Clifton 9" for more relaxed jogs.
--What is the appeal of Hoka to you?
. that they are just so comfortable to wear. I would wear them all the time, both when running and when not running. I think the stylish design that goes well with casual wear is also appealing. They come in a wide variety of colors, too, so you can have fun choosing. By the way, my hair stylist always wears "Hoka" shoes. I think they might be good shoes for people who work standing up, like hairdressers.
