Have you ever heard of New Balance's long-distance racing shoes that have broken the world record twice? The model named "RC205" is a well-known masterpiece that was renamed and re-launched in 2004 from the "COMP800" developed in Japan in 1996.

The RC205 is now available in a special-order model for BEAMS. Running and fashion, the two driving forces in these two fields, have met to create a special pair of shoes.

Equipped with ABZORB cushioning for high running stability and Ndurance, which specializes in abrasion resistance, the RC205 has been reborn as a lifestyle model this season.

In this special order, the original silhouette is retained, while the upper is made of suede and coarse mesh, which has become a trend in the sneaker scene in recent years. While the running shoe is the starting point, it has been updated for town use with a touch of street style.

The retro black and gray color scheme is inspired by the clothing and goal tapes worn by world record runners at the time. The insoles are also specially designed with the goal tape as the source of inspiration.
