New Balance has a number of popular models, but there are a number of great models that are being called for to be reissued one after another. One such model is the "2002," which was introduced in 2010 as the flagship model made in the U.S.A.
Last October, it was reissued for the first time as an Asian-made version under the name "2002R. Of course, it sold out immediately, proving once again its popularity.
This time, the black color of "2002R" will be re-released. Here we would like to check out a pair that is sure to be a hotly contested item.
ML2002R ¥17,600
Among the 2000s, which are currently out of production, the "2002" has received many requests to be reissued. The reissued "2002R" reproduces the massive upper design of the original model by layering nubuck and mesh.
Every part of the design, from the switching of parts to the arrangement of materials and colors, is simply brilliant. The fact that such a multifaceted design is so well put together is due in no small part to New Balance's exquisite sense of balance.
The silhouette of the shoes and the coloring of the shoes create an impression of a slightly naughty design that, conversely, matches the current era.
The high-spec sole combining "NERGY" and "ABZORB" with high shock absorption and resilience is also a key point.
In addition to functional aspects such as improved comfort and fit, the thick silhouette works well as a design accent.
The long-awaited pair will go on sale on May 28 (Fri.). As usual, the shoes are expected to sell out immediately, so if you want to get a pair, be sure to do so as soon as possible!
