Compete for time in a 1.6km run! New Balance YOYOGI PARK FKT, an online race in a vast natural setting, is now underway.

Located in the middle of Shibuya Ward, Yoyogi Park is a favorite recreational spot for Tokyo residents. With its flat and spacious promenade, it is a lush green running spot that attracts many runners day and night.

During the event, a 1.6-km (1-mile) course will be set up around the central plaza, starting from Paranoma Square, with the distance traveled marked every 100 m. Markers will be provided at each turn, so there is no need to worry about taking the wrong route. Simply launch "Strava" at the starting point, select "New Balance YOYOGI PARK FKT" in the "Group" section, and run around the course at your own speed.

There are also special lockers at the starting point.

The event will run until Friday, May 20. You can aim for the fastest time among participants, compete with your friends, or challenge your personal best. You can compete with your friends or try to beat your own best time.
