Finally, we interviewed the members of “BRICK by TOKYO,” a Tokyo-based trio of hybrid athletes who have just been appointed as Lululemon Crew Partners. What does “Yet” mean to them as they look forward to an even wider range of activities than ever before?

-What is the appeal of running?
From training to racing, there are so many ways to enjoy it, aren’t there? Sometimes we run together as a group, and other times we train alone, focusing intently on our own. At competitions, sometimes we aim for a specific time, and other times we just run together for fun. I think the appeal lies in the wide variety of ways to enjoy it that suit each individual.
-A run to remember.
I’ll never forget the first full marathon I ever ran. When I finally crossed the finish line after 4 hours and 30 minutes, I thought I never wanted to do it again, but my sense of frustration was so strong that I’ve kept running ever since.
-What is your personal best and target time?
My time at last year's Tokyo Marathon—3 hours and 24 minutes—is my personal best. My goal is to break three hours. I haven't been training enough, so I need to build up my endurance.
-What is your “Yet” (a goal you have yet to achieve)?
My main goal is to make a name for myself on the global stage, both as an individual and as part of BRICK. Starting this year, I plan to actively compete in marathons overseas to raise BRICK’s profile.
-What is your impression of Lululemon?
Having worked at a Lululemon store, I understand the quality of their products. I think they offer a wide selection of activewear that allows you to run comfortably without worrying about a thing—something I really value.
-How do you feel about the comfort and design of the "YET Race Day Kit"?
True to Lululemon, the fabric felt smooth and soft against the skin. While Lululemon usually features simple designs, this one is a rare exception—it’s bold and eye-catching. I think designs like this really help motivate you to run.
