The temperature is rising day by day and the days are gradually getting longer. Many of us must be itching to go on a trip somewhere during this season when just going outside makes us feel relaxed. Pushed by such a mood, we headed for Hachijojima, located in the southern part of the Izu Islands. Our concept for this trip was "keep the cost low, but the experience high. With the rising cost of living and the rising cost of travel, we tried to find a way to enjoy a trip that is reasonably priced and can be enjoyed without strain by devising ways to get around and stay in the island.
まずはレンタサイクルを借りて、電動アシスト自転車でキャンプ場へ。
風を受けながら走るだけで、すでに「来てよかった」と思える景色が続きます。
キャンプ場に到着したら、まずはテントを設営。
今回は3人それぞれがソロテントを張るスタイル。思い思いに自分の拠点をつくるこの時間も、旅の楽しみのひとつです。
利用したのは「八丈プラザ公園」のキャンプ場。緑に囲まれた静かな環境と広々とした芝生広場。そして利用料は無料。チープトリップにはこれ以上ない条件が揃っています。
