The temperature is rising day by day and the days are gradually getting longer. Many of us must be itching to go on a trip somewhere during this season when just going outside makes us feel relaxed. Pushed by such a mood, we headed for Hachijojima, located in the southern part of the Izu Islands. Our concept for this trip was "keep the cost low, but the experience high. With the rising cost of living and the rising cost of travel, we tried to find a way to enjoy a trip that is reasonably priced and can be enjoyed without strain by devising ways to get around and stay in the island.
And the next morning, runners Yamamoto and Enomoto went for their morning run.
I move my body at a leisurely pace as I pass through the stone-walled village and along the coastal road. Even though I’m just running as I usually do, the different scenery makes the experience so much richer.
And that wraps up our budget trip to Hachijojima. With a touch of reluctance, we set off on our journey home.
