The temperature is rising day by day and the days are gradually getting longer. Many of us must be itching to go on a trip somewhere during this season when just going outside makes us feel relaxed. Pushed by such a mood, we headed for Hachijojima, located in the southern part of the Izu Islands. Our concept for this trip was "keep the cost low, but the experience high. With the rising cost of living and the rising cost of travel, we tried to find a way to enjoy a trip that is reasonably priced and can be enjoyed without strain by devising ways to get around and stay in the island.
再びスーパーに立ち寄って食材を調達し、キャンプ場へ戻って夕食の準備を。
今夜はバーベキュー。レンタルしたセットで肉や野菜を焼きながら、自然と会話もゆるんでいきます。
そして焚き火タイムに。この時期は虫も少なく、寒くもない、絶好の焚き火シーズン。
食後は焚き火台を囲んで、だらだらと過ごす時間。特別なことは何もないけれど、それがちょうどいい。炎を眺めているだけで、時間の流れがゆっくりになる。島の空気と春の夜風が、静かに一日を締めくくっていきます。
ひとしきり楽しんだところで、それぞれのテントへ。火の余韻を感じながら寝袋に潜り込み、眠りにつきました。
