Let's go on a trip with tents on our backs. Cheap trip to Hachijojima in spring.

The temperature is rising day by day and the days are gradually getting longer. Many of us must be itching to go on a trip somewhere during this season when just going outside makes us feel relaxed. Pushed by such a mood, we headed for Hachijojima, located in the southern part of the Izu Islands. Our concept for this trip was "keep the cost low, but the experience high. With the rising cost of living and the rising cost of travel, we tried to find a way to enjoy a trip that is reasonably priced and can be enjoyed without strain by devising ways to get around and stay in the island.

A relaxed evening spent gathered around the fire.

We stopped by the supermarket again to pick up some groceries, then headed back to the campground to prepare dinner.

We're having a barbecue tonight. As we grill meat and vegetables using the set we rented, the conversation naturally becomes more relaxed.

And then it was time for a bonfire. This time of year has few bugs and isn’t too cold—it’s the perfect season for a bonfire.

After dinner, we gather around the fire pit and just relax. There’s nothing special about it, but that’s exactly what makes it perfect. Just gazing at the flames makes time seem to slow down. The island air and the spring evening breeze quietly bring the day to a close.

After enjoying ourselves for a while, we headed back to our tents. We crawled into our sleeping bags, still feeling the warmth of the fire, and drifted off to sleep.
