Yoshikawa:Such tastes are indispensable to express American casual style. We also rearranged the size balance to be more modern, and updated the materials to make them lighter. This season, we are designing clothes with a dorky-cool look while retaining the classic outdoorsy feel.

JQ:This season, all brands seem to be going back to their roots. I am also interested in the retro coloring of American casual, especially the earthy colors of the soul train of the 80s.

JQ:Looking at collections and such, there were many such color schemes from all brands until next winter. . Personally, too, I find it easier to pick up items with retro or vintage elements.

Yoshikawa:Earth colors are also a focus for us this season. We are incorporating natural colors such as the browns of the earth, the greens of grass and trees, and the blues of the sky. There are other flashy colors as well, but the overall trend is to focus on earth colors.

JQ:I'm curious about this jacket , I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

Yoshikawa:. This is based on a nostalgic outdoor field coat. In the old days, it would have been made of cotton or duck fabric, but this is a lighter cotton weather coat.

JQ:Yes, it looks light.

Yoshikawa:. So we put a padding in it to keep it warmer. In the past, there would have been no padding material, so a thick sweater would have been worn inside to keep the wearer warm.

JQ:I guess it is the staff at "BEAMS" who can wear these things in a cool way (laughs). May I try it on?

Yoshikawa:The size of the shirt has been made to look modern by dropping the shoulders a little and making the body wider. The sleeves are also slightly thicker.

JQ:I like that it has raglan sleeves. I don't mind the shoulder line.

Yoshikawa:: The color of JQ's pants matches the color of the collar of his jacket. It looks really good on you.

JQ:I would like to wear the nordic knit over here.

Yoshikawa:This sweater has a classic Nordic pattern, but it has been made oversized and the pattern has been enlarged to match. Not only did we make it larger in size, but we also made the pattern bigger to give it a look that you don't see in old clothes. I thought this would be a good fit for JQ, and as I expected, it looks great on him.

JQ:This is not so much about the size, but more about the larger pattern. . because the shoulders seem to be falling, and the pattern seems to be falling as well.

Yoshikawa:This is well received by women.

JQ:. It looks like it would be popular with the girls. I bought two of them and want to wear one for golf (laughs).

JQ:As for pants, they really vary. I often force myself to wear thin items by twisting my legs into them. . I often decide on the basis of my mood at the time, or just on the spur of the moment. As long as the top and bottom are in balance, I'm happy. That is why I think sizing is so important.

Yoshikawa:Yes, they are. It is becoming very popular in vintage clothing. Personally, I think this would look good on JQ, too.

JQ:This is a piece of clothing that is safe to wear, and can be styled in any way you like.

Yoshikawa:A mod coat is a useful item. It goes well with slacks and other clean-cut items. On the other hand, a pair of sweatpants and a street-style outfit would also look good with this coat on. Now, I think track pants like JQ is wearing would also fit.

JQ:I would love to wear this over a sweatshirt setup to the convenience store .

Yoshikawa:This is a color scheme that I skipped quite a bit. I think outdoor brands would use colors such as beige and olive . After all, there is no point in doing the same thing, so I decided to go with a colorful color scheme like this.

JQ:Orange is pretty invincible, isn't it? I think it's cool.

Yoshikawa:This also still looks good on you. . It goes great with the brown pants. Cotton outerwear like this has been very popular in the past few years. Girls are also wearing military liners.

JQ:The colors are skipped, but yes, it looks like a girl could wear this. The small details give it a unisex mood.

Yoshikawa:. This is a reference to the outdoor brand items from the 70s. We have added a coloring reminiscent of the 90's to it to create a coloring reminiscent of the outdoors, as shown in this season's theme. The silhouette was designed to be worn true to size back then, but we have adjusted the balance of the shoulder width, armholes, and body width to make it more street-like. We did not just make the garments bigger, but also made minor adjustments so that the garments would fit properly when worn.

JQ:Nice color.

Yoshikawa:Thank you . Why did you choose this color? . I dared to pick up a color that people would say, "Why did you choose this color?

JQ:What other colors are there?

Yoshikawa:As for this item, it is black and brown. I put it together with earth color system.

JQ:. because purple is also a grape color. It's earthy (laughs).

Yoshikawa:Purple also goes well with brownish colors, so I try to match it with earthy colors overall. But still, JQ, it looks good on you.

JQ:No, no, no, the clothes are great. At a quick glance, I think it might be eccentric, but when I put it on, it blends in very well. Also, I'd like to try on this parka, if you don't mind.

JQ:Since I have come all the way to BEAMS, I would think of buying something more design-oriented, but it is in these universal items that the store's commitment to quality is evident.

Yoshikawa:As JQ said, we want to value these universal items.

JQ:It would be nice to match a parka like this with a plain vest or something like this.

Yoshikawa:This time, I shot a look in which a parka is worn with a vest and a coat over it. A parka and a coat are a great match, but they seem a bit mundane, so I thought a vest like this would work well as an accent.

JQ:I was actually curious about this item.

Yoshikawa:I designed this vest with the idea of "What would happen if I made a plain vest with a pattern from 'Ortega'? That was the idea behind the design. I would be happy if this item could serve as a gateway for young people to discover the original.

JQ:Hoodies and vests, when put together, are great. . It doesn't look at all sexy, and it's not a very difficult item to wear.
