Place02_Autumn
A café where you can enjoy the entire space.
A 10-minute walk from Sakurashinmachi Station. Autumn, a café that opened in November 2022 on the first floor of an apartment building on Tsurumaki-dori, is run by the owner, Mr. Hayashi, who used to work at a café and a furniture store.
When we visited the store shortly after it opened at 8:00 a.m., we saw local residents chatting and waving to each other as they stopped by, along with elementary school students on their way to school. Perhaps it is because of Mr. Hayashi's personality and the security of being able to look inside the store through the glass walls, but the place has a warm atmosphere rooted in the local community.

The interior of the store, with a calm impression based on dark brown tones, has a layout with the counter kitchen as the main area. Serving coffee, preparing it, washing dishes, and choosing background music are all concentrated here, and this is Hayashi's fixed position.
The coffee beans used are from Raw Sugar Roast, a specialty coffee shop that he helped out at before the store opened. Raw Sugar Roast, a specialty coffee shop that he used to help out at before the shop opened. It is also sold in the store, and on this day, Ethiopian, Kenyan, and Colombian were being offered. The drinks on offer range from hand-drip coffee to café lattes and macchiatos, as well as juices and beer.
Behind the counter are handmade shelves lined with coffee utensils and books, and one-third of the shelves are occupied by vinyl records and turntables. Placed in the space between them is a pair of "F-613-B" speakers from Taguchi. It is said that the standard for bookshelf speakers is to use insulators to prevent vibration from being transmitted to the shelves, but as Mr. Hayashi laughingly said, "I thought the whole shelf was ringing when they were placed directly on it. In fact, there was a bit of a story behind these speakers before they got here.

First of all, Mr. Hayashi's encounter with "taguchi" was at a certain cafe where he used to work, where the owner was particular about sound. After that, she saw him at festivals and other events, but time passed and she was working as a freelance barista catering to events while working at a furniture store. I visited a factory to help make furniture, and it happened to be the same place as the taguchi factory.
Hayashi says that he has developed a close relationship with Taguchi and decided that if he were to open his own store someday, he would use Taguchi's speakers. But in fact, he says, what he has here is on loan.
I was actually thinking of putting them there, but I didn't have the budget for the opening of the restaurant, etc.... But a friend of mine lent me some of his personal speakers. Of the several he brought, these Taguchi speakers were the best match.

The speakers have been placed in this way for several times, but have settled in their current location and are now an integral part of the store. In addition to the delicious coffee, the store has a relaxing interior, good music, and the owner. This store is filled with the flavor of the owner's personality, which you will not find in a chain store.
