Ultra-Trail Mount Fuji, one of the most famous trail running races in Japan, which we have covered many times in the past. What kind of world is 100 miles, one of the goals in trail running? We have provided our own perspective on the race. In an effort to introduce the Ultra-Trail Mount Fuji in a more pop-like manner, we came up with the idea of taking fashion snaps at the race site! Just recently, we published an article about a fashion shoot for FN (FN / FOUR NINES). We planned, offered, and shot the article with the excitement of realizing that there was an actor with the same name. I never thought that a project that seemed like a lie would come true (!!). Now that it has been published, I am relieved and happy. Now that the film has been released to the public, I am filled with relief and joy. It was a coincidence that made it possible for me to create this article, and it is also an article that is completed by the imagination of readers. I hope many people will read it, and it has been a good year for me personally to have been able to produce an article that is a real editorial delight. This project kicked off in August 2022. It was released right after the winter break after about six months of production, so I remember being so nervous at the beginning of the year, wondering if it would sell.... The project was well received, and thanks to your support, we were able to continue the project for a second and third time. By the way, Mr. Kobayashi looked great... (laughs). The "A to Z" feature article is sometimes seen in fashion magazines. This is an editorial method of delving into a certain subject based on 26 keywords from "A" to "Z." It is not an uncommon method, but what would happen if this were to be expressed on the Web? It is not an uncommon way of doing this, but what would happen if this were expressed on the Web? The answer took shape in the "Anfilo" project. By keeping each sentence short, clear, and easy to understand, I think it was also effective in telling the story of the brand from a variety of perspectives. In fashion, what you wear is important, but who wears it is also very important. When we wanted to interview a person of interest to HOUYHNHNM's readers for our fall/winter fashion project, we thought there was no one better than Hiroshi Fujiwara's to do it, so we made an offer. There is no sense of season or trend, but rather 9 categories of items selected in the Hiroshi Fujiwara style, and the way he wears them in his current mood. As an athlete at the top of the world, I thought he must have a very stoic diet... but as he says, he is an unparalleled ramen lover. And he eats a lot! During the photo shoot, he devoured a bowl of tantanmen, gyoza (Chinese dumplings), and chilled chuka (Chinese noodles). This project is a glimpse into Hirano's personal life. Learning about coffee, digging in a rec shop, and other ordinary but unusual moments in his daily life. It was a great experience for me to be able to do that with the special staff. UA is not only a great performer, but he is also a person of interest to us because of his liberal philosophy, alternative lifestyle, and the other "hip" things that we are constantly exploring. This interview was conducted backstage immediately after the "Festival TV on KEENSTREAM" concert, in preparation for Fuji Rock. The episode with Phish was very moving. I've been to about 6 of UA's concerts this year, and the Fuji Rock stage was exceptionally good. It was partly because I was able to see the show from the front center, but more than anything, the vibes from the Field of Heaven were just too good. (I was so happy to see them.) (*)stone)

Let's go out to nature. This is a fashion story that I wove to express this message. There are different moments when I am happy to be working as an editor, but personally, I am most moved when I am able to capture the image I was aiming for. In that sense, when I look back on this year, this article was the first that came to mind. I now have good memories of the hard times I went through, such as running around Tokyo all day in the heat of the summer for location scouting and selecting photos until the family restaurants were closed. We asked the participants to do their own styling using items from the inner down brand "Taion". It was very interesting to see the range of tastes that emerged from the different occupations and tastes, and it was in perfect harmony with their personalities and everyday fashion, making it a "style sample that I would like to imitate in real life. Incidentally, this was the first snapshot project that the HOUYHNHNM editorial department was in charge of, so it was a very memorable experience for us! In the past two years, we have had 15 people appear in this playlist series on the theme of fragrance and memory. Starting with Mr. Manabe of Raizoma, Mori of PERIMETRON/DWS JAPAN/millenium parade, photographer Yoko, Yasuda of Kabi, which just recently received a Michelin star, and Kamide, well-known for his "Hyper Hard-Boiled Gourmet Report," we are indebted to so many people. I am grateful to all the people who helped me. It was a lot of work being constantly on the move, but I felt sad when it was over.... It was a lot of fun and I would like to do it again!
