2022年カタール大会で36年ぶり2度目の出場を果たし、今大会はホスト国ということもあり史上初の2大会連続出場となるカナダは、ユニフォームに並々ならぬ想いがあります。というのも、W杯出場国は開催にあわせてデザインをリニューアルして挑むのが一般的ですが、前回大会は待望の晴れ舞台への復帰にもかかわらず、出場32カ国の中で唯一新作を発表せずに参戦したのです。これを受け、今大会はホームもアウェイも満を持して発表され、アウェイは凍てつく冬の風景をコンセプトに設定。ウィンタースポーツ大国らしく、スケートのブレードによって砕け散る氷の軌跡をグラフィックとして落とし込みながら、その中にカナダを象徴するメープルリーフを滑走痕のように描き出しています。さらに、このグラフィックは1枚ごとに細かな表情が異なる仕様となっており、今大会屈指のファッションとしても魅力的なユニフォームと言えそうです。
